Isabelle's Story

Isabelle Tierney began practicing as a licensed marriage and family therapist in 2005. She holds two master’s degrees, one in Child Development from Tufts University and one in International Relations and Communications from Boston University, as well as certificates in Authentic Relating and in Brennan Healing Science.

Isabelle quickly established herself as a trusted and sought-after therapist. Within a few years, her practice expanded internationally and sustained a 6-month waitlist.

On the outside, it seemed as though she had “made it.” She was a respected clinician as well as a lecturer and educator who was sharing her knowledge on stages worldwide. At home, she was a wife and a mother to three healthy and beautiful children.

She had achieved every measure of external success that she had hoped for. And yet, she didn’t feel successful.

In the process of pursuing her ambitious career goals, she had sacrificed something precious.

The weight of 55+ hour work weeks, coupled with the pressure she felt to keep “all of the balls in the air” as a therapist, wife, mother, and friend, had eroded her health and her marriage. She constantly felt overwhelmed, anxious, and on edge, unable to find any solace amidst all of her responsibilities.

In 2013, the unthinkable happened—she and her husband divorced after 24 years of marriage. She was utterly devastated to lose the love of her life and the father of her children.

To make matters worse, she was diagnosed with “adrenal exhaustion” shortly thereafter. She was at rock bottom, physically, emotionally, and spiritually depleted.

Isabelle had no choice but to look in the mirror.

And that’s when it became clear to her—years of overworking and overextending herself had stripped away her joy and life force and stolen what mattered most to her.

So she resolved to live her life in a different way.

On a mission to get her life back, she invested thousands of dollars into mentors, programs, and books.

And while these resources offered some relief, they failed to lead her to the transformation she longed for—a life anchored in peace, energy, joy, and well-being.

She thought to herself, “If the tool I’m searching for doesn’t exist yet, I’ll create it myself.”

Over the next five years, she infused the most valuable insights from her clinical work and spiritual training, along with decades of education and research, into a novel resource.

The result was a simple Methodology that targeted the root cause of burnout, which had caused her so much suffering. It was carefully designed to deliver both immediate and lasting relief from chronic stress.

Isabelle tested this Methodology on herself and was astounded by the results.

She felt like a brand new person, no longer plagued by daily stress and overwhelm and instead enlivened to just how good she could feel. For the first time in decades, she was overflowing with vitality, bubbling with joy, and deeply connected to gratitude, peace, and well-being.

As a result of the transformation she experienced, she and her ex-husband were able to make amends, rekindle their love, and write a new chapter in their love story.

Isabelle knew she couldn’t keep this Methodology to herself, so she shared it with her private practice clients and saw them achieve similar results. The harmful effects of years of chronic stress were reversed; her clients were accessing boundless energy, joy, and well-being.

Encouraged by these groundbreaking stories of transformation, Isabelle chose to dedicate her life to sharing this Methodology with as many people as possible. It has since reached thousands of individuals from all walks of life and has been formatted into an app to reach a wide range of audiences, including corporations.

Isabelle continues to find great joy in sharing this Methodology with the world. Her mission? That no one suffers from the effects of chronic stress in the way that she did.

Today, Isabelle teaches this Methodology through her online coaching program, Stress Less, Thrive More, and enjoys a vibrant life with her family in Missoula, MT.
